Georgia Deserves Trusted, Experienced, Dedicated Leadership.

A Legacy of Service

As the longest-serving woman in the history of the General Assembly, I have been a voice for Georgians for nearly 30 years.  I have a proven record of service and a vision for Georgia.

Trusted Leadership

As State Representative, I authored legislation to create the Office of the Child Advocate, and I worked hard to protect programs serving students.  I have been a consistent champion for all Georgians, particularly children and youth.

Experienced Leadership

I was the first woman to chair the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, and I chaired the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Human Development – the second largest budget for the state.

Dedicated Leadership

As your next Secretary of State, I will work hard for all Georgians:

  • to guarantee open and fair elections,
  • to end fraud and abuse, and
  • to grow new businesses by cutting red tape.
